What needs attention
Plan the next field round. Choose an animal's alias to open its record.

24 of 24 tracked animals are on this round's list
Why these counts total more than 24
One animal can carry several reasons at once: 12 lost contact · 7 health follow-ups · 12 assessments overdue · 3 size checks · 5 transmitter.
Lost contact holds every other item, so a lost animal counts once.

How this queue works
One row per tracked animal. An animal can carry several reasons at once; the list sorts by its most urgent one, and its row shows that one.
- Lost contact
- No transmitter fix for more than 730 days and tracking never formally ended. Plan a receiver search. It holds every other item until the animal is located again or the record is closed.
- Follow-up
- The latest exam recorded a clinical sign; the chip names the sign and its grade.
- Assessment due
- No health assessment in the current year.
- Transmitter due
- More than 730 days since the transmitter was fitted or last swapped, or no fitting on file.
- Size check
- An adult is listed when its shell length falls outside 180 to 322 mm or its mass outside 1,500 to 6,800 g. A value above the upper bound is listed whatever the animal's size; small pre-adults are never listed. Re-measure to confirm. These are generic reference bands written for this demo.
- Checklist gaps
- The latest exam left at least one of the 5 sign fields blank. A blank field is unknown, not a clean result.
- Not examined
- No health exam on record.
- Checked
- An item marked as checked in this browser session. The generated record does not change, and a reload clears the mark.
Size class reads from shell length; 180 mm and above is adult. Data problems go to Data checks, not here.
What the columns mean
- Why On screen
- The most urgent open reason on the record. The chip opens its evidence; a count beside it opens every reason.
- Animal On screen
- The public alias. It opens the record beside the list, or in place of the list on a phone.
- Sex and size On screen
- Decoded from the animal register; the size class reads from shell length.
- Last located On screen
- Time since the latest recorded position, counted to the date the records end.
- Last exam On screen
- Time since the latest health exam, counted the same way.
- Mass (g) On screen
- Mass at the latest exam.
- Notch In the record and the file
- The shell mark read in the field. It is not unique and selects nothing.
- Shell length In the record
- Midline carapace length at the latest exam.
- Transmitter In the record
- The latest fitting on file and what the deployment record says about the device.
- Last transmitter fit In the file
- The date of the latest transmitter fitting or swap.
- Area In the record and the file
- The survey unit, by its public label.
- Why flagged In the file
- Every reason the record raises, not only the most urgent one.
- Data status, Record class In the file
- Demo data and GENERATED_SAMPLE on every row of every file.
